What do I do to pay for I.Y.E.P program?
When you are accepted into any of our program you either work with IYEP partner organization in your home country who will facilitate the program for you. Where there is no partner organization IYEP will provide you with Bank information's to effect payment.

Can I use traveler's cheques to pay?
It's always convenient to wire transfers to Ghana . However participants are advised to have very little cash and more traveler cheques for safety purposes when traveling to Ghana . Travelers Checks are very safe and convenient to use in Ghana.?

What are the living conditions I may face?
Ghana is an inflatory country. Participants living conditions are relatively cheaper, depending on lifestyle and taste. Many items and products in Ghana are cheaper.

Are there any special items to bring?
It is advisable to bring with you mosquito nets, repellants sun cream etc tennis shoes, etc.
A hat and protective cool clothing.
Cotton cloths, A light jacket or sweater
Your personal medicines.
A first Aid kit
Something to read about the country and the culture of Ghana

Will I be picked up from the Airport?
There is only one International airport Ghana . The Kotoka International Airport . We always meet our participants at the airport and send them to their various placement areas. There's always one night stay in Accra . Our program fee includes pickup from the airport.

What vaccination will I need?
This depends on what vaccination you already have. It is no more a requirement for traveler to Ghana to take a certain shots. However it is advisable to contact your Doctor to know what medication you require to Ghana .

Can my family contact me?
Your family can contact you through the Internet, telephones, Postal Service available everywhere around the country.

What if I get sick?
There are well equipped hospitals and health post in many communities in Ghana that could take care of you in the event of illness.
